In development sector, Mr. Ghosh worked Project Director of The World Bank financed (TA-IDF Grant No. 27304) project “Implementation of Accounting and Auditing Standards in Bangladesh”; as Financial Management Expert for The World Bank financed project Agricultural Research Management Project” (ARMP), IBRD. No. 27270, ID # BD-PA-9484; as Consultant of The World Bank program (Project ID: P149852) for 2nd “The Report on the Observance of Standards and Codes (ROSC); as “Senior Financial Management Specialist” for the “Integrated Fiduciary Review Project” (IDEA Project; Credit Number 4938 – BD); as Member of Proposal Evaluation Committee for Bangladesh - Second Local Governance Support Project (LGSP-II) (P124514) funded jointly by The World Bank and Govt. of Bangladesh; as Member of Proposal Evaluation Committee for “Bangabandhu Satellite Launching Project” implemented by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).  

In Accountancy Profession, earlier, he worked as “Manager, Audit & Consulting” in former Arthur Andersen member firm ACNABIN & Co. during 1996-99. During that period, worked jointly with Arthur Andersen Japan, Arthur Andersen Delhi, Arthur Andersen Dubai and Price Waterhouse Coopers Calcutta for different international clients like JICA, USAID, ICDDRB, BRAC and The World Bank.  

Before joining Chartered Accountancy Profession, Mr. Ghosh had worked Deputy Managing Director (Building Materials Division) of Anwar Group of Industries where he joined as Group CFO in 2014. Previously, he served as Consultant of The World Bank, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Viyellatex Group and as Financial Controller and Head of Internal Audit of Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd. Earlier, he worked as Deputy Director of Studies (Technical & Research) and Project Director of ICAB. Prior to that, he worked as Manager, Audit & Consulting of ACNABIN & Co., Chartered Accountants. 

He has been serving ICAB as Council Member since 2013 and served as Vice President (Education & Training) for the year 2013. He has been working for different standing and non-standing committees of the Council-ICAB since 1998. He is currently the Chairman of the Editorial Board and the Chairman of Information & Communication Technology Committee. Working also as member and Convener of different Committees and Sub-committees.  

Mr. Ghosh served as Secretary General of The Institute of Internal Auditors, Bangladesh (IIAB) for many years. He was founder Director of ISACA Dhaka Chapter and was Secretary of the Chapter for a long time. Currently, he is contributing as Chairman of Renessa Info Systems Limited and Board Director of Janata Capital and Investment Limited.
